Small sepia wall tile painted by EM (Evert) Glaudemans, master painter at De Porceleyne Fles (Royal Delft) who worked there from 1942-1977. Glaudemans started his own atelier in Delft after his retirement. At that time paintings with this level of time-consuming artistry were no longer produced by Royal Delft. Tile has no date on the front & the back is covered. From my research I estimate vintage 1970's-80's but I'm no expert - it may be older. Signed.

Tile depicts a rural scene with a clocktower in a village next to a frozen canal with boats moored to the shore & people enjoying a winter stroll or a skate along the water. In very good condition with a tiny blue mark & couple of light scratches only visible when held at an angle. Frame 7 3/8" x 5 1/4"; visible part of the tile 5 3/4" x 3 5/8".

No refunds unless item is misrepresented due to a mistake on my part. I'm a responsible seller & strive to list accurately & completely but I'm only human - if I'm at fault I'll make it right.
