A gorgeous gem! This rustic antique pillar candle is a German patent-protected design that includes hand painting and carving, crafted by Gunter Kerzen, which dates back to the 1920s. A unique addition to any collector's decorative collection. The candle is in the a lovely tree shape with four children (two girls, two boys) and birds and flowers around. Lovely from any angle. It also includes the original wax lid with a wood texture.
This candles showcases expert craftsmanship and is sure to impress.
The candle has never been burned. Minimally cleaned so as not to damage the finish. There are some chips here and there from movement over the years. All the children remind me of Hummels.
