These coronation trays were made in 1936 by Empire China for the upcoming coronation, which never happened, because Edward abdicated before the event. They are identical except for the back stamp. One of them has three tiny imperfections in the glaze on the back side. These are not chips and do not photograph well. Charming and unusual British history.
