Vintage 100% Wool Buffalo Plaid Pendleton Outdoorsman Shirt

Shirt measures roughly 26” pit to pit x 33” long, and is in excellent condition, with no conspicuous flaws or blemishes, and minimal cosmetic indications of wear. I don’t know exactly what year this is from; I’m guessing between 1980 and 1990. I know it was made prior to 1994, given the tag style…and I’m pretty sure it was after 1980, because the collar is straight/standard, as opposed to the larger, flared collars common in the 1970s. I’ve had 2 of these identical shirts in same size…this one, and one made in the early 2000s. The difference in quality is hugely noticeable, and the cut/fit of this one is pretty normal, as opposed to the baggy and boxier cuts made in the 1990s. This shirt’s incredibly well made, and the wool fabric also feels like it’s double the weight and density of the more current products- it’s incredibly warm and versatile, as it can be worn as a light jacket in mild/cool weather conditions.
