Vintage Dorothy Dear “Santa’s Workshop” soft sculpture Santa, produced by Home Works in the late 1970s–early 1980s. This is an original Dorothy Dear design, known for her Americana folk-art Christmas décor and hand-screened artwork. Made in the USA on 100% cotton with polyester/kapok fill. This example retains its original sewn-in Home Works label as well as original paper hang tags, which is increasingly rare and highly desirable for collectors. Features the classic Santa’s Workshop sack graphic and charming country-style detailing throughout. A wonderful piece of early artisan holiday décor.
