This listing is for this oil painting on canvas of a Paris Street scene. It's shows the some of Sacre Couer and the area surrounding it. Sacre Couer is a Catholic basilica which sits on the highest hill in the Montmartre neighborhood of Paris. The painting is signed on the lower left Burnett.
Caroline Burnett (1877-1950), was a British - American artist known primarily for her impressionist Paris Street scenes. Her painting style shows the move towards contemporary painting during her years there.
This piece is in good overall condition. It is framed in a simple wooden frame. There are no holes rips or tears in the canvas.
