AC Milan is a pillar of Italian football, spending nearly all its history in the top flight. I Rossoneri dominated the early 90s with legends Marco van Basten, Ruud Gullit, and Frank Rijkaard. The 1990/91 campaign was an “almost” season, preceding the Invincibili of 1991/92. Despite falling short in Serie A, the Coppa Italia, and the European Cup, Milan still claimed the European Super Cup and Intercontinental Cup. The 2006 adidas reissue of the 90/91 kit revives the iconic Mediolanum era with a modern touch.
