Japanese-made Honkaya (Japanese nutmeg) 4-sun Go board (4 sun 4 bu 5 rin) with core wood

《Origin》 Shikoku

This Go board is made from Honkaya from Kochi Prefecture, which has been naturally dried for over 10 years, processed, and has been aged for over 20 years.

It is a core wood board with a colored finish.

Since it is unused, there are no playing marks.

There are some areas where the grid lines and star points are slightly faded, but it can still be used without any problems.

There is a small crack on the top surface, which has been filled with a wooden plug (image 20).

There are small cracks on both end grains that extend to the back.

Both sides are relatively clean.

There are small cracks on the back.

The legs are 1-step Kuri legs (not chestnut, but Honkaya from Kochi Prefecture, uncolored) are attached.

The legs are in good condition and clean, but there are small scratches and cracks.

The board is tightly assembled without any gaps.

There is no wobbling on a flat surface.

The thickness is a manageable 13cm, and the top surface is relatively clean.
