Original pre-Mattel Samantha is stamped Pleasant Company on the back of her neck, and is in like new condition (owned by an adult collector - never played with!) She has been well cared for over the years. She has very squeezable vinyl, soft eyelashes (all intact), and her silky VERY LONG hair maintains original curl and looks like the elastic/ribbon has never been removed. Eyes function normally, she can hold a pose, and is clean with no marks or odors. She looks to be a 1991 doll, but will leave that determination to the experts out there! Samantha is wearing her meet outfit - dress (tagged "Made in West Germany for Pleasant Company 1986"), matching hair ribbon, black ribbed tights, white bloomers, and Mary Jane shoes. In addition, she comes with the pamphlet "Samantha Parkington" dated 1991.
