Vintage Krementz genuine carved shell cameo 14kt gold overlay earrings with box, 14kt gold overlay, filigree design, genuine carved shell, screw back clip, 6/8”x7/8”, excellent condition considering age, comes with the original flip top box marked “Krementz”, these date to the 1930s-40s.
Krementz started in the 1860s in Newark NJ, initially focusing on men’s jewelry and accessories but broadened to women’s in the 1920s. A large collection of Krementz was actually on board the Titanic when it sank. The long line of jewelry that is made even today is highly sought after by collectors worldwide.
