This pendant begins its story on the shores of Lake Erie, where these rare black-and-white “wishing stones” were discovered—each one naturally marked with a bold quartz stripe, believed in folklore to bring good luck when found in the wild.
Over decades, waves, sand, and shifting seasons have shaped these stones. These stones carry that entire story of geology, water, time, and movement.
I bezel-set the main stone in sterling silver in my silversmith studio, linking them so the smaller one dangles freely with natural movement, echoing the motion of water from which they came.
