80s-90s L.L.Bean Bird's Eye Knit Cardigan XL
This is a women's size XL, but it should fit men as well since there's little to no shrinkage.
Made of 60% cotton, it's much more comfortable to wear than the wool-heavy versions, so it's great even over a short-sleeved shirt.
I also have a wool-rayon version with a high wool content, and it's quite itchy.
There are no noticeable scratches or stains, but there is some slight pilling and signs of wear.
