First edition, first printing oversized trade paperback copy of The Studio: Jeffrey Jones, Michael Kaluta, Barry Windsor-Smith & Berni Wrightson (Dragon’s Dream, 1979). Incredibly rare art book compiling selected works from four artists, with 36 pages dedicated to each. A 1970s avant grade fine art quartet who shared a studio and stylized themselves as The Studio. Many prints selected here have very rarely been reproduced in other prints or books.
Moderate wear to covers, especially around the edges. Corners bumped and with some creasing and small tears. Cocked spine with binding weakening - several instances of split binding, though all pages remain attached, if tenuously. See photos for condition. Pages clean and unmarked.
