This is a beautiful representation of a 1940s gold plated sterling silver flower brooch. In the 1940s other metals were used for the war so jewelry makers used sterling silver. This flower brooch features a sleek table cut purple glass piece reminiscent of Czech glass. There is wear to the gold plating as photographed. The brooch is large, measuring 3 1/8" long by 1.25" wide.
