This is an unbelievable find! Just the kind of thing my mother would have dressed me in for a trip to the city as we called San Francisco. The makers tag is removed, but I hesitatingly say this could be a Chanel. It is the style and certainly the time period in which they were making children’s clothing. If you’re not familiar with the name, I. Magnin was a very high-end department store in the bay area starting in the late 1800s . They went out of business in 1994. This coat is in perfect condition. Other than no makers tag no holes. It feels like a wool blend sort of a Santana knit just adorable! a piece of history.
