VTG natural malachite green gemstone hand strung necklace. Hand turned malachite beads of varying size & shape from 5mm to 11mm, strung w small green glass beads separating each malachite bead & the original brass barrel twist clasp closure. The beaded necklace in 21.5" long.
The natural malachite stones feature a vibrant array of greens from light bright aqua green to deep sea greens, w bright showy grain, heavy banding swirls, & a nice finish.
This is a loved pre-worn vintage piece, some stones show wear, one bead has a small chip, two show some porousness, all normal. There may be an open spot of grain on the finish or a small scratch, but these are few; & the distinctive, concentric or swirling banded patterns in contrasting shades of green are stunning, the natural luster of the vintage green gemstones has not faded either.
