Vintage K.J.L. For Avon 1980's Large Enamel Rhinestones Dragonfly Statement Brooch Pin
This is a dazzling vintage K.J.L. (Kenneth Jay Lane) for Avon gold tone dragonfly. It has pink and beige enamel wings with a pink crystal rhinestone body with a clear rhinestone tail and eyes. There are a zillion costume jewelry butterflies (of which I am an enthusiastic collector), but not very many dragonflies. KJL was known for his figural jewelry; his dragonfly does not disappoint!
Condition: This pin is in very good vintage condition with no issues of note. There are a couple tiny nicks in the gold tone metal plating along the edges. The rhinestones are all bright and the enamel intact. P
Marks: It is marked "K.J.L. for AVON" on the back side cartouche. Kenneth J. Lane made a collection of jewelry for Avon that has retained their popularity over the decades. .
