Here for sale is a wonderful large vintage picnic basket made by Basketville in Putney Vermont. featuring an American Eagle emblem or patriotic theme to commemorate the U.S. Bicentennial (1776-1976), characterized by its rustic charm, double handles, very popular during the 1970’s era. Does have some wear but still displays nicely, has a small chip (about 1.5”) on lid as shown in last photo.
Approximate dimensions: 21” length x 11.5” tall x 11.25”depth
Can be used for holiday seasonal decor adding Christmas items Halloween or even Easter! The opportunities are endless. Still can be used as a traditional picnic basket as well
