Vintage Wesson Oil mayonnaise maker. This specific model was sold via mail order by the Wesson Oil Company around 1933. The glass jar has the recipe for making mayonnaise embossed directly onto its surface, ensuring it was not lost. It is a plunger-style mixer, designed to help emulsify the ingredients by slowly incorporating the oil as the user beats the mixture. Set includes the glass jar, a metal lid, and a metal plunger with a mesh bottom. The plunger is rusty. Please see pictures for measurements.
