Vintage Era: Based on the style and "Made in China" marking, this is a prime example of late 1970s or 1980s Christmas kitch.
Condition: New Old Stock (NOS) - Never used. The flocking is intact, and the color is bright. The plastic bag and cardboard header show light handling/storage wear consistent with age, but the item is sealed. A white PIC N SAVE price tag/sticker residue is visible on the header.
Identifying Marks: Cardboard tag has a festive Santa graphic and reads "Merry Christmas" and "MADE IN CHINA." The ITEM NO. Y9-16 is also visible.
Collectibility: Ornaments from this era, especially those still in their original packaging, are increasingly popular for "retro" or "kitsch" Christmas displays.
