This elegant 10-inch vintage figurine was produced in Italy and imported by Golden Crown E & R (Ebeling & Reuss, Philadelphia) during the mid-20th century.
Crafted in the Florentine "faux ivory" resin style, it was designed to replicate the look of hand-carved ivory while showcasing the fine detail Italian artisans were known for.
The figurine depicts a graceful lady in traditional attire, holding a fan and flowers, standing atop a round faux marble base. These Italian faux-ivory sculptures were popular from the 1950s through the 1970s, making them timeless pieces of mid-century décor.
