Vintage Halcyon Days 1984 Santa Claus Father Christmas Enameled Box - England. A timeless collectible, Halcyon Days presents the 1984 hinged trinket box with Santa Claus/Father Christmas on the lid. The sides show a sleigh with packages and waiting reindeer. Inside the lid is a black outline of wrapped presents. The handcrafted boxes from Halcyon days follow the company's tradition of a multi-step process of powdered glass applied to copper base, kiln fired and finished with hand painted details. The company is known for officially reviving the English enameling on copper in collaboration with Bilston and Battersea Enamels. A beautiful start to a tradition for generations to come.
Estate find in very good vintage condition; minor tarnish. Original box with red velveteen lining. Non-smoking home. Stamped on underside. Measures approx 1 5/8" diameter
