Egyptian winged scarab brooch. There are mysterious hieroglyphic symbols on the back. There are also a couple of marks on the front in Aramaic. Appears to have been gold plated at one point, a long time ago. It's quite large, measuring almost 3"across.
Recently took this to ANTIQUES ROADSHOW and they verified that the Scarab is ancient Egyptian and marks are Aramaic. Valued it at at least $500 - $1000.
