A 1930's silk robe from my grandmother's vintage closet. I'm no expert, but he embroidery is very intricate and looks hand stitched. My Grandmother had great affection for China and the Chinese people until the Japanese invasion forced her to flee as a young woman. Prior to that, she escaped The Bolshevik Revolution by fleeing to China. She had amazing stories to tell. Her beautiful garments have been in storage for decades. They were passed down to my dad, and now to me. I want this beautiful piece to find its place in the sun. In very good vintage condition with some signs of its age as pictured. The belt is stitched to the back of the garment and the sleeves are like a butterfly wing shape. Please see the measurements in the photos.
