Beautiful vintage Sterling China – Made in Japan porcelain teapot featuring a richly detailed gold filigree floral (gold chintz) pattern. The body is heavily gilded with hand-applied gold around the spout, handles, lid, and upper rim, creating a luxurious mid-century display piece.
The teapot has a fluted, scalloped body with a raised gold scroll-finial lid and an all-over gold floral motif that wraps the entire surface. A classic example of high-quality 1950s Japanese export porcelain.
