Antique 1890s Charles Dickens Puck Edition Nicholas Nickleby & The Old Curiosity Shop. Printed in New York (Exchange Printing Co., no date but circa 1889-1895) in one volume, illustrated by F. Barnard. A handsome Victorian-era hardcover (~8x6) in brown cloth with gold-lettered spine. This is an original 19th-century printing of these two novels in one book a great addition to any Dickens collection or as vintage decor. Condition: Fair/poor worn but complete. The covers show heavy wear: cloth fraying at spine ends and , and some staining/soiling to boards. The spine gilt title is still visible but dulled. Binding is intact but the front hinge is starting to crack (pages still attached). All 322 pages are presentet; no loose pages. Pages are yellowed with age, with foxing spots and the occasional smudge, but text remains legible. Illustrations are all intact; one illustration has a tear at the margin (no loss to image). No handwriting inside except an old penciled price on front endpaper
