These trophies have survived traversing the Atlantic, two World Wars, and the ravages of time. In remarkable shape, they remained mostly untouched for the latter part of the 20th century. The mounts within the collection have been well preserved, and many of them retain their original inscriptions detailing the history of the hunt in which the game animal was taken.
Early 1900s Black Forest / Austrian Alps chamois mountain goats and roe deer antler trophies on hand carved, Black Forest wooden trophy plaques. A nice addition to your hunters loge, cabin, man cave or just to display them in your house.
These particular plaques are from one of the noble Austrian families and have there family crest symbol on the skull of the deer.
Just dropped the price to the lowest you will find these anywhere. These have all been authenticated by James Supp of Coronado Trading Company. Also known for his celebrity appearances on the antique roadshow.
