This is by far the biggest fully terminated Red Andradite Garnet I have ever seen. They are usually 1 to 5 mm in size at most. Red Andradite is usually found in a druze cluster in association with nother minerals. It is extremely uncommon to find an isolated Andradite Garnet from the Kalahari of any size let alone a large Garnet like this one.
