American Girl Josefina Montoya doll was released in 1997, this is a first edition. She is in her complete meet outfit consisting of her white camisa with short puffed sleeves & a gathered neckline. Small white trim at neckline and sleeves. Maroon skirt with black flower print; waistband. Brown woven sash with darker brown stripes. White knee-length drawers with elastic at the back and a V panel at the front. Brown soft leather moccasins that lace up and tie in the front. Please note that the laces are brittle from age. Hair ribbon is 1/4" wide dark turquoise ribbon. Is tied around the bottom of Josefina's braid with hair flowers; three faux yellow primroses on a shared plastic stem. Please note the stains on her feet caused by her shoes being for years. Also included is her complete meet accessories; her rebozo with diamond patterned, a sewn leather pouch, a white sheer Mexican style handkerchief & a replica of a copper jola (HOH-la) coin. All tagged 1997 Pleasant Company.
