Jenny Yoo Emilie Illusion Gown in Cashmere, Women’s Size 6, Altered for Petite

I loved this dress enough to risk ruining it and well, here we are. I had approximately 30 minutes to make this full-length Jenny Yoo Emelie Illusion Gown work on my 53 frame. And by make it work, I mean I committed a string of crimes against couture. I had a lot of optimism, some scissors and some hem tape.
Alterations (by someone with zero qualifications):
Hemmed the bottom using iron-on hem tape (its not pretty, but it held)
Trimmed the tulle layer across the bottomagain, with haste
Shortened the straps at the top of the shoulders (stitched at the seams)
Theres a small tear in the tulle near the base of the zipper where it snagged (pictured).
