Textblock has lightly tanned pages but clean with no writing, bookplate, or marks and not BCE, ex-library, or remaindered. The dust jacket is unclipped ($5.95) with light edge-wear and a few tiny closed tears. Protected in a new Brodart Mylar cover.

This debut novel by Lawrence Sanders revolves around the complicated burglary of an entire upscale New York apartment building by a gang of ex-convicts, who are unaware that the entire operation is under wiretap and camera surveillance by various agencies. The novel introduces the character of NYPD police detective Edward X. Delaney who became Sander's enduring protagonist in his Deadly Sin series of novels.
