Department 56 The Old Curiosity Shop Dickens Village #59056 Lighted Building

This is "The Old Curiosity Shop" from the Department 56 Dickens' Village Series. The design is based on a real shop on Portsmouth Street in London, which was immortalized by Charles Dickens' novel of the same name. It is a lighted porcelain building designed as an antique shop and bookstore.

The piece was introduced in 1987 and retired in 1999. This classic piece is just waiting for you to display in your village.

This house/building is in excellent condition in the original box. No chips, cracks, or indication of misuse or abuse. The original flimsy cardboard sleeve and Styrofoam may have some wear, but the piece(s) looks as good as the day purchased.
