Working Antique German Karl Griesbaum Singing Bird Cage Automaton.
He sits on a gilded perch with wire branches adorned with leaves. Beautifully made using brass, fabric, feathers, and metal. There is a wind up crank on the underside, as well as a lever that allows you to stop, start, or pause the automaton. Amazing piece with the perfect aged patina.
13" tall including handle/hanging loop, 6.5" diameter at base. Weight: 2 lbs 11 oz.
