Sale includes machine and one tape. This model is a bit better than the more current RR-950 seen in many places because it has a variable tape speed slider knob in addition to the two position tape speed switch. This is great for people who may have a voice that is at a pitch you find difficult to hear, or who speak slowly, or maybe you just need a bit more speed to make your words per hour goal.
The two speeds are a dramatic change. Having the slider allows you to find the pitch and or speed that works well. I have transcribed a time or two and this feature is high value.
This unit works well. Tape movement is definitive and smooth. Reproduction is solid, but obviously optimized for voice. The built in mic will capture everyone sitting around a table, no problem. There are some minor scuffs shown in the photos.
The foot pedal remote review and mic with control switch peripherals did not come with this unit, which can use the ones from newer units, if desired
