RARE Vintage GILKIE Princess Diana Porcelain Doll Black Dress Fully Jointed 17” #9/100. Made by Mary Ellen Gilkie and her initials are carved into the back of the neck. There is a number 9/100 but it got lighter when i washed her And the only other marking I can see is a tag under the hair, which is shown in the pictures . Lady Diana Spencer doll in the black engagement gown was made by American doll artists, Mary Ellen and Charles Gilkie! She is #9 of a limited edition of 100 dolls! Dated 1981! The fabric tag tells us that the wig was made in Korea! It was published in an article for a doll magazine! Good vintage condition. She is missing her stole. .
