Tiffany Vintage Sterling Silver Purse Pen, Mint Unused Condition circa 1978

Vintage Tiffany & Co. 1978 Lady Purse Pen made of Sterling Silver, hallmarked “TIFFANY & CO STERLING SILVER”. Totally unused. This is “new old stock.” 4 1/2” long. New black ink ballpoint refill just put in, giving you the original blue ink cartridge as part of this pen’s history (it dried up over 27 years even though not used). This elegant pen has the sought after diamond etched pattern of elongated diamonds throughout the surface body of the pen. There are no scratches on this pen as it should be since this pen has never been used since it was bought at Tiffany’s on Fifth Ave in 1978. This purse pen, called that because ladies could put this small ballpoint pen in their purse with the silver cap on and be happy the pen is so small (fits most purses) and be happy the pen couldn’t accidentally open and leave an ink mark inside one’s purse or pocketbook. This Tiffany Blue Box with the pristine white sponge padding and the Tiffany Dust Bag are original to this pen. Collectible/Gift-able
