Whoever put this scrap book together was loaded! And the scrapbook has receipts to prove how much he spent! The book contains more than 250 photographs, post cards, travel brochures, maps, ticket stubs, live concert performance booklets, playbills, programs, souvenir hats, menus, receipts and other ephemera from a three month trip in 1925 that included stops in Cuba, Los Angeles, San Fransisco, San Diego, Tijuana Mexico, Seattle, Canada and Chicago. There's also train stops in Oregon, Michigan and Utah. There's also a second California trip included dates 1927. The books shows how the man traveled using steamliner ships, bi-planes, travel cars, buses and trains. It seems that the gentleman who made this trip book is named JC Bossong. The guy was a golfer, explorer and had a ton of cash to throw around. He might be the same J. C. Bossong primarily known for his role in the hosiery industry and for being involved in legal and regulatory matters related to wartime price controls in 1940s
