This unit is Made In USA - Manufactured in Texas
The IND-AHF-BX-UVC-R6-120V-50C Surface Mount UV Air Sanitation Purifier from Larson Electronics actively disinfects the surrounding air in occupied areas without noise. This unit uses eight lamps that provide 106.4W total UVC output during sanitation. Designed for surface mounting applications, the stainless steel system can be mounted either horizontally or vertically for maximum mounting flexibility. The IND-AHF-BX-UVC-R6-120V-50C is equipped with a MERV 16 rated air filter.
*Please note: This product produces UV light. Make sure to follow all safety guidelines and protocols found in the user manual. UVC light in the proper setting kills up to 99.9% of viruses, mold, spores, and bacteria. *
The IND-AHF-BX-UVC-R6-120V-50C is a surface mount sanitation solution for occupied areas in buildings, temporary shelters, and work sites. Equipped with eight UVC fluorescent lamps, this system offers 106.4 total UV output, within the 200nm - 280nm UV-C range (254 nm peak). The lights have an expected lifespan of 8,000+ hours and emit a flood beam pattern inside the unit. Constructed of 304 stainless steel, the UV lights are enclosed inside the unit preventing UV exposure in occupied areas. An interlock safety switch ensures automatic disconnection of power to the system during servicing, installation or maintenance. LED indicator lights on the unit notify individuals when the system is in operation and when the lamps must be replaced (one LED indicator light per lamp). A differential air pressure gauge monitors filter resistance to ensure timely filter replacement. Operators can choose from the following operating modes via a 3-position switch: blower only (blower on; lamps off), full operation (blower on; lamps on) and off (blower off; lamps off).

Operation: Surrounding "dirty" air is drawn into the portable UV purifier via a MERV 16 filter at the base of the system. The "dirty" air passes through the UV sanitation chamber where it is treated with UVC light using the eight fluorescent lamps. The disinfection process kills up to 99.9% of viruses, bacteria, mold, spores, and other harmful microbes. Clean sanitized air exits the chamber through a louvered exhaust panel and is released back into the environment. The louvers also protect people from UV exposure in the surrounding area. This low-maintenance air disinfection process is continuous and quiet.
MERV Filter: HVAC air filters are rated according to the minimum efficiency reporting value (MERV). The MERV rating measures how effectively the filter prevents dust and other contaminants from getting through and into the circulating air. Larson Electronics utilizes filters that have a rating of MERV 16 in our UV air sanitation purifiers. This level of air filter can stop particulates that range from 0.3 to 1.0 microns in size. MERV 16 filters are generally used in residential, commercial, and hospital settings.

Wiring/Plug: This unit is equipped with 50 feet of 16/3 chemical and abrasion resistant SOOW cord that is fitted with an industrial grade cord cap for easy connection to common wall outlets. Plug options include standard 5-15 15 amp straight blade plug for 110V wall outlets with ground or NEMA L5-15 15 amp twist lock plug for 125V twist lock outlets. Alternatively, we can provide flying leads with no plug for hard wire applications or for operators who prefer to wire in user provided cord caps. Please choose pigtail option below for flying leads with no plug.
Mounting: The IND-AHF-BX-UVC-R6-120V-50C is designed to be surface mounted. Due to the heavy overall weight of the unit, additional support is required to mount it to a flat surface. It can be mounted in either a vertical or a horizontal configuration with no change to the unit's operation. A minimum of six inches of clearance from the end is required for proper functioning.
Note on Environment: Sunlight and visible light fixtures do not impact the effectiveness of the disinfecting on this UVC sanitation product. Metal halide, high pressure sodium, fluorescent, and LED light fixtures can be left on. The UV radiation emitted from this product is not disrupted by any type of lighting in the environment. Put simply, NO it DOES NOT need to be dark in the area you plan to disinfect. The UV radiation is harmful to the eyes and skin, and that is why you should not be in the area while it is in operation. Please see user manual for additional safety information.
Applications: Air sanitation, occupied areas, food processing, pharmaceutical, schools, labs, warehouses, buildings, industrial, manufacturing, office, air disinfection, UV treatment and many more.
