or "May he be shamed who thinks evil of it".
It's most famously known as the motto of the Order of the Garter, an order of knighthood in the British royal family.
The phrase is often interpreted as a call for positive thinking and avoiding negativity.
It is 7" tall to the top of the pot & 8 3/4" with cover on.
