Antique 1870's Victorian Recessed Foundation Vent Cast Aluminum from New Orleans
This exquisite architectural salvage piece is a Victorian Foundation Vent made of cast aluminum, originally from a Victorian house in New Orleans built in 1875. Traditionally set into the foundation using cement as a binder, this Recessed Foundation vent features an oval body with an acanthus rim, lattice interior, and pierced center. It can be primed and painted with exterior primer and paint.

Rear: 17-1/2″ wide x 9″ tall
Front: 22-3/4″ wide x 14-1/2″ tall
Depth: 3-7/8″
Condition: This decorative foundation vent is in good condition with no repairs. There is a crack on the top of one side of the ring, but it does not go through. It still retains some of its original green paint remnants. Please see all photos as they are part of the description.
