Everything appears to be in proper working order. When plugged in (original adapter) and turned on the display, it comes to life. The train plays Christmas carols. The wheels animate, and the figures go about doing their job. I do not have any of the smoke solution that makes the smoke come out. It can be bought on ebay or from the Mr Christmas website. I have found this needs to be level so the music can play. It plays 16 different Christmas songs. There is a volume rolling knob. The speaker has a slight buzz. They sell a replacement speaker on ebay or through the Mr Christmas website fir about $11. In great condition, SEE pictures
