1) The Front Panel has been replaced, the FACE ID scanner is disabled and can not be set up, you can set up a passcode for security, all other functions are functional, battery capacity tested at 86%. It is used so it does have light usage wear on the metal casing, no deep scratches or dents
2) Software has been updated (18). It has been reset and is ready to be set up by the new owner’s Apple ID. Don't forget to have a type c charge cord & adapter (20-30W higher) on hand for charging since it does not come with one.
