I'm trying to go more minimalist. I've been a hoarder...albeit of some nice items...for too long. So this item is out of my China cabinet that I barely even look at filled with generations of inherited items...and some redundancy.
This is a beautiful vintage crystal decanter. Extremely elegant and heavy. It has a square shape and exceptional workmanship with two different patterns on the four sides. The stopper and the bottom both have a 16-point star that I read can be indicative of Baccarat but I'm not sure and don't guarantee it.
It is 3 1/2" square and 9 3/4" tall with the stopper (8 1/2" without it) and it weighs 4.2 pounds.
It is really a piece of art that shines beautifully in the sunshine. Excellent as a display piece or for your water, whiskey or wine.
