Rare Antique Victorian Era Mother of Pearl Horse Head Pocket Watch Fob/Chain on Calf Hair Leather strap w/ matching mother of pearl buckle. Gold filled chain & findings. Beautifully hand carved horse head & buckle. I’ve seen similar horse heads being sold alone as a pendant for close to $300, but to find an intact fob w/ the added matching m.o.p. buckle & all the original findings in this condition is unique & rare! It’s in beautiful condition for being well over 100 years old, the only significant wear is on the leather, but even it’s still in surprisingly good shape. Didn’t want it over cleaned but the gold findings have been lightly cleaned & they shined up really nicely, so further cleaning could make the gold look even better. Both the buckle & horse are gorgeous & very clean. A beautiful, rare piece of history.
