Vintage Umbrella Kids Cookie Jar

These two little children are sitting under their umbrella, trying to stay dry. The tip of their umbrella broke off, so their Grandma had to fix it. Actually, I bought it many years ago from an elderly lady who told me she repaired it herself. I still thought it was cute enough to buy, and I hope you do too!! It was always on a top shelf, so the knob was never noticed. The bottom of the jar is in excellent condition, but we know the lid is not. There are a few chips and dings around the edge of the lid. The lid does not sit properly on the jar, which was very common with a lot of jars back then. I kept a folded paper towel in the back to keep the lid where it belongs. Please see all pictures.
