Rare Original Film Noir “Tattooed Stranger” Linenback Poster (1950) (27”x41”)

This is a vintage original poster for the 1950 RKO crime film noir “The Tattooed Stranger”. The plot involves rookie police detective Tobin leading the investigation into a series of brutal murders, starting with that of an unidentified woman with a tattoo on her wrist. He seeks the help of botanist Dr. Mahan to identify blades of grass in the car in which the corpse was found & is surprised to learn that Mahan is a woman. (Remember this was the early 1950s.)

This authentic One Sheet (27" X 41") poster for the 1950 film noir “The Tattooed Stranger” was in good to very good condition prior to restoration. Prior to restoration, the poster had scuffs, pinholes, creasing, minor edge & fold wear, fold separations with minor paper loss & paper loss to right upper border that does not impact the image at all. A talented restorer cleaned poster, addressed paper/color loss in main image & linenbacked it. The poster design is vivid & suspenseful & displays incredibly well.
