A delightful object, the Eames Elephant (1945) developed out of the Eameses’ fascination with elephants. They designed the original elephant in molded plywood, but fabrication methods proved too complex, and it never went into production. Vitra Design Museum expanded the elephant’s legacy by introducing this polypropylene version in the style of the Eames Molded Plastic Chair. Made in Germany.
