Vera Cruz Amethyst Crystal Specimen (Vera Cruz, Mexico)

This beautiful Vera Cruz amethyst specimen has amazing clarity and color! Vera Cruz is a famous locality for amethyst specimens, due to the growth structures – typically the growth is in a sunburst formation, as the amethyst crystals crisscross and grow on top of each other. At the very bottom of the largest crystal, there is another growth and because of the clarity, you’re able to see the key (the connection point of the two crystals). The quartz dusting on the underside of several of the crystals give this piece a fresh snowfallen look! Please note: it is normal for one or two of the very small clear quartz matrix crystals (at the base of the specimen) to shed during shipment – due to the fragility and size of those crystals, that is considered typical; however, there should be no noticeable changes upon arrival. Each of my Vera Cruz amethyst pieces were hand selected by me, due to their clarity, color, and growth pattern.
