This is a miniature Swedish New Testament Family Bible. Titled, “NYA Testamentet” Published in Stockholm in 1879.
This antique bible is nearly 145 years old. Bound in a stunning beige leather wrapper that is decorated in embossed details with gold gilt text on the spine.
A beautiful Bible that measures under 5 inches tall, by approximately 3.25 inches wide. It is approximately 1.25 inches thick, and holds 588 printed pages inside. This antique holy book is not in English. It has sharp corners and the leather is in lovely condition. There are names written from a previous owner on both the inside front and back covers. The binding is still sound and all pages seem to be properly intact. There is some edge ware and some rubbing to the spine. The pages show some tanning due to their aging process. A book of this size is always a fan favorite, but this book’s beautiful leather cover is sure to grab some attention. A beautiful and stunning religious book!
