For your consideration is this highly desirable 40's era Crown Trifari Empress Eugenie brooch. I believe the designer to be Alfred Philippe design. This piece is gold plated over silver metal, ivory colored faux pearls, clear rhinestones, and black enamel. It does have wear on the plating and enamel. The side faux pearls have scratches on the backs, other pearls appear to be ok. Rhinestones show age, darkenedand yellowing on many. Prices for these pieces vary, seeing many high priced.
